Collineo periodically analyzes the capital and real estate markets as well as the economic situation in Germany and other European countries. The analysis includes real economic indicators such as GDP growth, unemployment, inflation and income growth as well as financial market data such as interest rates, exchange rates and stock prices. The decisions of the ECB and other central banks are also tracked and examined for their relevance to the real estate and capital markets.
The aim is to develop forecasts for the residential and commercial real estate markets in order to estimate the future development of prices, rents and real estate-related credit products.
In addition to these top-down analyzes, project-related local and regional real estate (sub-) markets are examined on the basis of market reports and data from the respective statistical offices, for example on population movements and other demographic data.
